Privacy policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information S3LF M4D3 US LLC ("S3LF M4D3", "we", "us"), the company that operates SM1 and sm1health.com, collects when you visit the site or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We have written it in plain English. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@sm1health.com and a person will answer you.
1. The short version
- We collect what we need to take your order, deliver it, support you afterwards, and run the site.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.
- We do not ask you for health information, and you should not send us any. Buying a supplement is a purchase, not a medical record.
- You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold. Just email us.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number if you give one.
- Order details — what you bought, when, how much you paid, and the delivery address.
- Payment details — handled by our payment providers, not by us. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the card type and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account details — if you create an account, your login email and order history.
- Messages — what you write to us by email or through the contact form, including the topic you choose, and our replies.
- Marketing preferences — whether you asked to receive our emails.
Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser, operating system, and screen size.
- Usage data — pages you viewed, what you clicked, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 5.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as government identification numbers, or health or medical records. Please do not send them to us. If you include health information in a message, we use it only to answer that message.
3. Where it comes from
Most of it comes directly from you. The rest comes from your device as you use the site, and from Shopify and our other service providers as they carry out work for us.
4. Why we use it
- To take and deliver your order — process payment, dispatch the parcel, provide tracking, and handle returns and guarantee claims.
- To support you — answer questions, resolve problems, and keep a record of the conversation so you do not have to repeat yourself.
- To run and improve the site — keep it working, understand which pages help and which do not, and fix what is broken.
- To prevent fraud and abuse — verify orders, protect against fraudulent payments, and enforce the limits in our Terms of Service, including the one-claim limit on the 120-day guarantee.
- To send marketing — only where you asked for it, or where the law otherwise allows us to email you about similar products. You can stop it at any time (section 7).
- To meet our legal obligations — tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (orders and support); our legitimate interests (running the site, security, fraud prevention, and improving what we sell); your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies, which make the site work — keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, and securing checkout. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies, which tell us how the site is used so we can improve it. Our analytics are provided by Shopify, the platform the store runs on.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, checkout will not work.
Your browser may send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We recognise it and treat it as an opt-out request where the law requires us to.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with parties that need it to do a job for us, and only as much of it as that job requires. They are bound by contract to protect it and to use it for nothing else.
- Shopify, which hosts the site and processes orders, payments, and analytics.
- Payment providers, which take and secure your payment.
- Fulfilment and delivery partners, which pack and carry your parcel. They receive your name, address, and phone number so the parcel can reach you.
- Email and support tools, which send order updates and let us reply to you.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, and any buyer of our business if it is ever sold or merged.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Marketing emails
If you asked for our emails, or bought from us and we are permitted to email you about similar products, we may send you news and offers.
Stopping them is one click. Use the unsubscribe link at the foot of any marketing email, or write to hello@sm1health.com and we will remove you. It takes effect immediately.
Unsubscribing does not stop the emails we have to send about an order you placed — order confirmations, dispatch notices, tracking, and refund confirmations. Those are part of the purchase, not marketing.
8. Text messages
If you opt in to receive text messages from SM1, your mobile number is used only to send the messages you agreed to receive. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.
9. Shopify's role
The site runs on Shopify, which processes personal information on our behalf under its own agreements and privacy terms. Shopify may also handle some information as its own controller in order to run and secure its platform. Its privacy documentation is published at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
10. Other websites
The site links to websites we do not run. Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information — read their policies.
11. Children
SM1 is sold to adults, and you must be at least 18 to order. The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to hello@sm1health.com and we will delete it.
12. Security and how long we keep it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, and our platform and payment providers hold recognised security certifications. Card details are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep order records for as long as we need them for the purposes in section 4 and for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support conversations are kept while they are useful for helping you and for handling any dispute. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
13. Where your information is stored
We are based in the United States, and your information is stored there. If you are in the EEA or the UK, your information is transferred outside it; where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Ask us and we will tell you which safeguard applies.
14. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete what we hold, unless we are required to keep it;
- stop sending you marketing.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also object to or restrict processing, ask for your information in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing it does not undo what was lawful before.
If you are in California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may also have the right to know the categories of information collected and disclosed, to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of your information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. Exercising any of them will not change your price or your guarantee.
To exercise any right, email hello@sm1health.com from the address you used to order, or tell us the order number, so we can be sure the request is yours. We answer within the time the applicable law allows, and normally sooner. You can use an authorised agent where the law lets you.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first at hello@sm1health.com — we would rather fix it than have you go elsewhere. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and in the EEA it is the supervisory authority of the country you live in.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice where the law requires it.
